Rocket reaches space, which is where rockets go
An Indian company launched a rocket on Saturday, and the rocket worked. It travelled upward for sixteen minutes and arrived in Low Earth Orbit, a region that now functions as a car park with a view. The company described the event as history. Companies do.
The firm intends to offer a 'cab service to space', in which customers pay to have objects carried upward on demand. This is also known as a delivery service, an industry which has existed since the invention of the parcel. The parcel, in this case, includes a robotic arm, some satellites, and a decorative diamond lotus, which will orbit the Earth, decoratively.
Analysts noted India is now the third country with private orbital launch capability, and predicted a new space age, as they did after the previous seventeen launches by other parties. The space age is always new. That is its one consistent feature.
