World Cup drama bonus round: geopolitics! And the final's still coming!
What a World Cup this is turning out to be! Argentina beat England 2-1 in a semi-final for the ages in Atlanta, and the excitement was SO enormous it spilled right out of sport and into international diplomacy! Content for everyone!

British understatement: still undefeated even when the football team isn't!
And the calendar keeps giving: England play Argentina AGAIN on Saturday — in rugby this time — and the World Cup final is Sunday, Argentina versus unbeaten Spain. Starmer has wished both finalists well, 'especially Spain', which is the most honest sentence any politician has said all year!
Fifa's disciplinary committee will sort out the rest, as referees do. Sport! It contains multitudes, and this week the multitudes contain a foreign ministry! Another gift!
